So, if this idea gets accepted, then the next thing someone might be thinking is restricting certain colour HEX's to be used in players names if some clan has them?

As Erosion said, its a bad idea because no matter what colour you change it to, someone still may be wanting to have this colour for their clans.

Btw, clan tag is the main thing that differs non-clan players from ones that are in clans.
